Flexible and available online learning approaches due to COVID-19

Due to COVID-19, three flexible and available online learning approaches are advised as below.

1. Asynchronous learning involves coursework delivered via web, email and message boards that are then posted on online forums.

1. Cloud e-Learning platform is the best interactive system for accessing learning materials, submitting assignments, taking online tests, and conducting online forums.
2. Students also can access learning materials and assignments by E-mails, LINE, WeChat, or Google Drive.

2. Synchronous learning involves online studies through videoconferencing and chat.
   1. Videoconferencing: Visit http://connect.wzu.edu.tw, make reservations, and conduct a video conference by using Adobe Connect.
   2. Chat: Use Chatroom for Online Discussion in Cloud e-Learning platform for instant messaging.
   3. Use E-mail, LINE, WeChat, YouTube, and Facebook that have live videos or chatrooms for synchronous and asynchronous learning.

3. Blended learning is a combination of asynchronous and synchronous learning based on course design.

The above-mentioned three approaches are subject to Wenzao's course storage, system usage, and network traffic flow.  If the total network traffic flow exceeds the limit of the system, your network connection might appear slow.  In order to have smooth network connection, teachers are advised to adopt flexible and available learning approaches which require less network traffic flow.
